Welcome to the second news update from the eSearch technical team.
These news updates will provide information on new and exciting changes to the eSearch web site,
information on forthcoming Service Packs or new releases as well as news from the Development and Service Delivery Teams.
eSearch v3.1 Service Pack 3 is now on General Release and can be obtained from this website, but you will need to register for access to the Download area and Knowledge Base. SP3 contains over 200 quality improvements, as well as:
Work is progressing well on v3.2 of eSearch and delivery is on track for the end of the year. New functionality in the plans for v3.2 include:
A Beta Test program for v3.2 will be in place from 24th September to 19th October. Please contact the eSearch Product Manager if you would like to take part in this Beta Test.[This program is now closed - Ed.]
A demonstration of the first development iteration was held on 1st August to several members of the eSearch Customer Advisory Board and it went down very well!
