Web Site Improvements

Issue 1: June 2007

Welcome to the first news update from the eSearch technical team.
These pages will provide information on new and exciting changes to the eSearch web site, information on forthcoming Service Packs or new releases as well as news from the Development and Service Delivery Teams.

Latest Service Packs

eSearch v3.1 Service Pack 2 is now on General Release and can be obtained from this website, but you will need to register for access to the Knowledge Base to be able to download product releases. SP2 contains over 400 quality improvements, as well as:

Service Pack 3 (the terminal release for v3.1) is now available for download, and is scheduled to be on General Release in mid July. The news page also contains information on the enhancements you can enjoy in SP3.

Website KnowledgeBase

The new eSearch Support KnowledgeBase is now available for all customers and partners to use. Please take a few moments to visit the KnowledgeBase and give me your feedback on the contents. This is an area designed to help you, so your feedback is vital to ensure that we are putting the right information there for you!

Version 3.2

Engineering work is now underway for the next big eSearch release: version 3.2, scheduled for General Release in Q4 of this year. New functionality being planned for v3.2 include:

User Groups

Successful User Groups have now been held in Houston, Norway and Aberdeen. It is hoped that these will continue on a regular basis and will be the ideal forum for users to share experiences and tips. Please contact the eSearch Product Manager for more information on the User Groups.

This month we've introduced a short online feedback survey, where we're asking for responses from existing eSearch users to help us continue to improve the product and our supporting services. We would be grateful if you could take a few moments to anonymously answer those brief questions.
