Welcome to the latest news update from the eSearch technical team.
These pages will provide information on new and exciting changes to the eSearch web site,
information on forthcoming Service Packs or new releases as well as news from the Development and Service Delivery Teams.
eSearch v3.2 Service Pack 2 has now been released by Schlumberger Information Systems for customer use.
This Service Pack is the latest for release v3.2 of eSearch and contains many excellent new features - continuing the trend of improving quality and usability since the previous release.
This smaller update includes nearly 30 further quality improvements to eSearch 3.2 since Service Pack 1.
Headline benefits in this Service Pack include improvements to the following areas:

Registered users can now login and download 3.2 Service Pack 2 from the Knowledge Base.
The next release of eSearch shall be version 3.3 due in Q4, 2008.
Development of new enhancements for this release is coming to an end in July and the software will then be entering a testing and Beta Test phase for the next few months.

On a different productivity note, we would just like to welcome Blanca Solorzano back to work in our Houston office. Blanca has just returned from maternity leave after giving birth to baby Kerwin Aaron on 23rd April. Kerwin weighed in at 7lb 12oz, so we reckon he’s going to be a great footballer! We also wish Rob Boothroyd (one of our Cardiff Systems Engineers) good luck as his wife is expecting twins at the end of July! |
The recent Aberdeen eSearch User Group Meeting in April was well attended and minutes should be forthcoming soon.
These will be published on the SIS support portal once available.
