April 2006 - eSearch Development Group Achieve ISO9001 TickIT Industry Accreditation

Certificate No: FM 98335  Registration Date: 28/Apr/2006 In April 2006, Iron Mountain's eSearch Engineering and Service Delivery teams achieved certification by the British Standards Institution for operating a Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000. eSearch v3.0 Service Pack 4 - Released May 2006

Service Pack 4 provides a number of enhancements which include:

Map retention schedules based on a hierarchy field

eSearch retention now supports hierarchy fields, you can map a schedule to a database based on values in a hierarchy field.

Improved Find It Fast search

Multiple uses of Find It Fast continues to use the correct datatypes. Also Find It Fast supports row level security.

eSearch v3.0 Service Pack 3 - Released April 2006

Service Pack 3 provides a number of enhancements which include:

Element Datatype Search Modified

Previously when an Element had over 100 Metadata items not all them were displayed.

Row Level Security Improvements

Finer control over setting row level security on security profiles. Now able to set on search, edit and order.

eSearch v3.0 Service Pack 2 - Released March 2006

Service Pack 2 provides a number of enhancements which include:

Query Saving Improved

When you save a query if the name is the same as a query that has previously been saved a message telling the user this is now displayed.

Improvments to Ordering

You are now able to select more than one item at a time to amend. An issue where 2 orders were created when a new collection order was created so that it now creates one order as expected. An issue with the amended date of an order not saving correctly has also been corrected.

Improved Invalid Search

You are now able from an Invalid search to bulk edit sets of invalid data.

eSearch v3.0 Service Pack 1 - Released February 2006

Service Pack 1 provides a number of enhancements which include:

Printing from the Web

Printing from the web creates and opens a PDF file which means that you can preview and then print the document.

Multiple Field Bulk Edit

You can remove a value from a multiple field using bulk edit.

Modified exporting from esearch

Exporting where there are heirarchy values now creates an extra line for each heirarchy value and each heirarchy.

eSearch v3.0 - Released November 2005

Version 3.0 is a major new release of eSearch. It combines a completely redesigned user interface with some key new functionality to deliver a significantly enhanced user experience. Read more...

eSearch v3.0 includes the following new features:

Enhanced user experience (simple for the new user to the expert)

Following extensive research and feedback from many users, the user experience of all desktop and web components of eSearch have been redesigned for improved usability and intuitiveness. The product is now easier to use and easier to understand. In particular, the number of mouse clicks required to complete many operations has been reduced by up to 85% in some cases.

Full lifecycle physical data management (from data acquisition to disposition)

eSearch v3.0 introduces retention functionality for managing retention schedules and rules, assigning them to datatypes, searching for and viewing disposition details, and processing records due for disposition.

Complete and compliant data tracking (accurate accounting for all data modifications)

Auditing has been extended to log all changes to data records and retention policies.

Integration made easy (eSearch integrated into your current workflows, with API or Web)

The Web application can now be launched in context. From almost any application that can pass a properly formatted address string, the web application can be launched to directly display the return set of a query based on the criteria passed in the URL.
