eSearch v3.0 includes the following new features:
Following extensive research and feedback from many users, the user experience of all desktop and web components of eSearch have been redesigned for improved usability and intuitiveness. The product is now easier to use and easier to understand. In particular, the number of mouse clicks required to complete many operations has been reduced by up to 85% in some cases.
eSearch v3.0 introduces retention functionality for managing retention schedules and rules, assigning them to datatypes, searching for and viewing disposition details, and processing records due for disposition.
Auditing has been extended to log all changes to data records and retention policies.
The Web application can now be launched in context. From almost any application that can pass a properly formatted address string, the web application can be launched to directly display the return set of a query based on the criteria passed in the URL.
